Fourth grade learned about circuits and the mechanics of how to build a free-standing robot. We used plastic cups, markers, motors, batteries, glue sticks, and LOTS of tape to build our Scribblebots. We learned that wires and batteries are very particular about being in the exact right spot before they will complete a circuit! In the end, everyone was successful in getting his or her 'bot to draw. The final piece of art that all the 'bots made together is really cool, too! Look for it in the lobby of the office starting in May. Here are some photos and video of the process:
